While most ghosts are scary and mean, Casper is as kind as they come. As a young and friendly ghost, Casper peacefully haunts a mansion in Maine along with the Ghostly Trio. When the nasty Carrigan Crittenden (Cathy Moriarty) explores the mansion for a wealthy treasure, the ghosts try to scare her away, but to no avail.
Needing to clear the house to find the treasure, Carrigan hires paranormal specialist James Harvey (Bill Pullman) to communicate with the ghosts. Accompanying James is his teenage daughter, Kat (Christina Ricci), who becomes the subject of Casper’s love and attention. However, maintaining a relationship between a human and a ghost proves quite challenging.
In Netflix’s Reptile, a young real estate agent named Summer (Matilda Lutz) is brutally murdered. Her boyfriend, Will (Justin Timberlake), finds her body in one of the properties they were going to sell. After the events of Hotel Transylvania, Drac (Adam Sandler) is now a grandfather to Dennis (Asher Blinkoff), the son of his daughter, Mavis (Selena Gomez), and son-in-law, Johnny (Andy Samberg). When Dennis fails to grow fangs as a toddler, Drac worries that his grandson is not a vampire.

In her club, Babi meets Marco (Leandro Lima), whom she nicknames the “hot judge.” Marco was the judge who presided over an alleged money-laundering scheme involving Caio. Babi and Marco spend the night together, unlocking a more passionate and sexual version of herself. As she spends more time with Marco, Babi learns about his mysterious past, putting her in danger.
Saint Seiya, a manga series by Masami Kurumada, receives a live-action adaptation in Knights of the Zodiac. Seiya (Mackenyu) is a strong-willed teen on a mission to find his abducted sister, Patricia. To make ends meet, Seiya fights for cash. During one of his clashes, Seiya unleashes a mysterious blue light that represents his mystical power.
Seiya eventually learns his destiny is to become the Pegasus Knight, a warrior for the goddess Athena. Seiya is tasked with protecting Sienna (Madison Iseman), who is Athena reincarnated. But first, Seiya must train and learn to use his powers to eventually be worthy of a spot among the Knights of the Zodiac.
The childlike yellow creatures get their own movie in Minions, the spinoff/prequel to Despicable Me. Three Minions – Kevin, Stuart, and Bob – struggle to find a master after failing to work for a T. rex, Count Dracula, and Napoleon. The Minions hitchhike to Orlando in the late 1960s and meet Scarlet Overkill (Sandra Bullock) at a villain convention.
Scarlet, the world’s first female supervillain, and her husband, Herb (Jon Hamm), recruit the Minions to join them in London to steal Queen Elizabeth II’s crown. If the Minions succeed, they will receive a reward, but if they fail, Scarlet will eliminate the Minion race. Expect a lot of hijinks from these lovable creatures.
Liza Drake (Emily Blunt) is a high school dropout and single mom in desperate need of money to provide for her epileptic daughter (Chloe Coleman). Bill Burr is known for his excellent stand-up comedy on Netflix. Now, the comedian is stepping behind the camera to direct his feature directorial debut, Old Dads. Burr stars as Jack Kelly, a middle-aged father struggling to adapt to a progressive, modern world. Jack and his two best friends, Connor Brody (Bobby Cannavale) and Mike Richards (Bokeem Woodbine), sell their longtime business to a hotshot group of millennials.
The company used to sell throwback jerseys. Now, the company is a “gender-neutral, carbon-neutral 21st-century lifestyle apparel brand.” For the three boomers, the failure to transition to the changing times at work translates to their personal lives as they struggle to adapt as fathers.
The studio summer comedy returned in a big way with No Hard Feelings, starring Jennifer Lawrence. Maddie Barker (Lawrence) is a foul-mouthed Uber driver facing bankruptcy in Montauk. Due to a failure to pay property taxes, Maddie’s car is repossessed, increasing the likelihood of her home being taken away. Desperate for money, Maddie responds to an unusual Craigslist request from wealthy crypto investors Allison and Laird Gecker (Laura Benanti and Matthew Broderick).
The proposition: Maddie will be gifted a Buick Regal if she dates the couple’s 19-year-old son Percy (Andrew Barth Feldman), a shy introvert with no social skills. Maddie has to boost Percy’s confidence before he goes to college. Let the raunchiness ensue.
